When does the tour start?

Groups leave for Rome at 8:41am exactly. Please be at Civitavecchia train station for registration from 8 - 8.30 am
Where do we meet the guide?
Answer:
Civitavecchia train station. Look for CBM Tours rep at entrance.
How do we Get to Rome and back?
Answer:
By train, beating Rome’s morning and late afternoon traffic by at least 30 min each way.
Can we go inside the Colosseum?
Answer:
Your tour begins at the Colosseum with an external presentation and there is an option to go inside (reservation with CBM Tours required. E-mail us for more information).
How much walking is involved?
Answer:
There is so much to see in Rome in one day! We don’t want to miss the heart of the Eternal City, which can be best accessed on foot. There will be a fair bit of walking! Our local Roman guides will take you on public transportation shortcuts whenever possible, and the midday 1-hour lunch stop will give your feet a break. Guests must be able to walk over paved as well as cobblestone surfaces. Many are uneven. There are steps at many of the locations visited on the tour.
Do we have to wait in line to see the Sistine Chapel?
Answer:
For your convenience, we have priority entrance for those who chose to join us in the Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel part of our tour. There is NO WAITING IN LINE for entry! Tickets are additional - 20 Euro adults, 12 Euro children & students. Those who prefer not to go in will have 2 hours of free time. We regroup again by 4 pm for our return to the port.

CBM Tours values a small group atmosphere so we can be attentive to each person on our walking tour of Rome, and facilitate a comfortable, familiar environment for our guests of the Eternal City. Our tours average between 10-20 participants, with no more than 24 guaranteed in peak season.

The tour costs 62 Euro. Children 5 & under go free, and kids 6-16 years pay 42 Euro! Large group discounts may be arranged. Please inquire!

What time do we leave & return?
Answer:
Your guide and the bus will wait at the port, right outside your ship, leaving at 8:30am and returning straight to your ship at 5:15pm.
How will we find the guide?
Answer:
For your convenience, meet the guide with the CBM Tours sign outside the main exit of the ship's terminal.
How much walking is involved?
Answer:
Most of the walking will be in the remains of Pompeii, a fascinating two hours on cobblestone roads.
How much is the tour from Naples and Salerno?
